This readiness project aims to strengthen the National Designated Authority’s (NDA) capacity to perform the responsibilities related to the acquisition of funds in the Green Climate Fund (GCF); development of a strategic framework for engagement with the Fund, including the preparation of a country programme; and implementation of the GCF no-objection procedure.  The 3G project ensures that necessary systems are place which facilitate the NDA in development of mechanisms for consultation on projects in line with the national climate change strategies and plans through interaction with stakeholders, line ministries, statutory bodies and development partners.
